Red Turn Arrow

Do you ever see a traffic signal or road lines and wonder if you can turn or cross the line. Well, that happened to me yesterday. I came to a traffic light that had a red right turn arrow. I always thought that a red arrow means that you cannot turn.

Why else would you have a red arrow and not a red light?!Anyway, I waited until there was a green arrow to make my right turn and thankfully the cars behind me were patient.Of course, I had to look up the law and here is guidance from the Florida Department of Transportation. https://www.fdot.gov/traffic/faqs/trafsignalfaq.shtm“A red RIGHT arrow means that you must come to a complete stop at the marked stop line or before moving into the crosswalk or intersection. After stopping, you may turn RIGHT on the red arrow at most intersections if the way is clear.
